Enneagram test
Thirty-six statements, about four minutes, and no email address at the end. Your answers stay in this browser.
Rate each statement from 1 to 5
1 means not like you at all, 5 means very like you. Go with your first read of each one. Nobody is grading it, least of all us.
Statement 1 of 36
Type 5, the Investigator
with a 4 wing
- Core fear
- Core desire
- When things are going well
- Under stress
Three things worth trying
Not you? Types are a lens, not a cage. Read the runner-up too, and try again on a different kind of day.

How it works
Each type has four statements hidden among the thirty-six. Your score for a type is the sum of those four answers, so every type lands somewhere between 4 and 20. The highest total is your type. Your wing is whichever neighbour on the circle scored higher, so a 5 with a stronger 4 than 6 reads as 5w4.
The arrows are the standard ones. Each type borrows the healthier habits of one type when life is going well, and slides toward the rough edges of another when it is not.
This is a short screen, not a clinical instrument. If two totals are close, read both. The link you copy carries only the nine totals, so it works anywhere without sending anything to a server. Not even to us.
